Calling all lipstick lovers! There’s a new liquid matte on the market, and yes, you definitely want to get your hands on it.

Matte lipstick is known for delivering rich, bold color, but some complain that it also leaves your lips dry, or even worse, flaky. Enter the glam squad behind Huda Beauty. They recently released a new and improved Liquid Matte Ultra-Comfort Transfer-Proof Lipstick that promises to be non-drying with “extreme color payoff.” Even better, the new formula is vegan!

The Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks quickly sold out in all shades in just a matter of days. Even now on hudabeauty.com all colors still remain sold out.

Luckily, select colors are still available and ready to ship at Sephora. But as a forewarning, some are out of stock, and the popular shades will also go quickly, most likely.

Now, if you’re wondering if the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick delivers on its promise of superior pigmentation while also keeping your lips soft and smooth, I’m here to tell you it does. As someone who hates the feeling of dry, chapped lips, I typically avoid matte lipsticks. However, I found that I could comfortably wear this Huda Beauty formula for a full day without feeling like the need to apply lip balm every five minutes.

As for the color, it’s pretty unreal how bold and rich the shades are. Just one swipe on each lip is enough to create a really vibrant and beautiful look. If you want real intensity, you can add a second coat, and the color gets even more concentrated.

The new Liquid Matte Lipstick is available in 16 shades ranging from vibrant reds to muted neutrals. You can see swatches of a few of the colors below. Here are the names from left to right: Slaytina, Miss America, Sweet Talker, Baby Doll, Perfectionist, First Class, Drama Mama and Sugar Boo.

One important thing to note before you go stock up on your own Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks: This formula has serious staying power. This is great if you want you don’t want to re-apply your lipstick throughout the day, but removing it at night might take a little work. After using three cotton pads soaked in micellar water, I gave up trying to remove the swatches from the pic above off my arm, and this is what it looked like.

Overall, there’s a lot to like about this new formula from Huda Beauty. It’s richly pigmented, non-drying and isn’t easily smudgeable. What more could you ask for in a liquid matte lipstick?
