A few hours before she chatted about wanting to go out more and be ‘less anal about privacy’ after host Graham quizzed her about how she ‘vanishes’ for a few years after every album she releases.

Asked if she will vanish again after her Vegas shows, and if so, for how long, she said, ‘I definitely will but I am trying to make a conscious effort to stop being so anal with my privacy.

‘I’m trying not to be two completely different versions of myself. It is exhausting switching on and off.

She revealed that despite Angelo going to school in LA with other Americans, he still has her mother’s thick London accent.

Adele explained: ‘Angelo sounds just like me, he goes to school with American kids and sounds like me! He says three not with an f like me. He is slightly more well spoken than me!’

On their move to the US and what she misses about home, she added: ‘We weren’t supposed to live there so long. Then I got locked out of the country. I was stuck there for most of Covid, before the pandemic we probably spend about half of our time there.

‘But I miss British humour, our humor doesn’t always travel. I miss my family, I miss my salad cream and Branston pickle but I found a store that does it.’

She also chatted about her success at The Brits on Tuesday where she picked up three gongs, and revealed she new about one of them before the ceremony.

The songstress went on to admit that at the start of her performance of I Drink Wine on stage she actually fluffed her lines.
