Smith, 53, who made headlines for slapping Chris Rock, 57, during the show, smiled as he donned a black three-piece suit and had his arm around Zampino’s shoulders.

Zampino and Smith were married from 1992 until 1995 and are parents to Trey Smith, 29. Following their split, Smith dated Jada Pinkett Smith and the pair wed on New Year’s Eve of 1997; the couple are parents to Jaden Smith, 23, and Willow Smith, 21.

Zampino, who runs a beauty business focused on body butter, chronicled her busy day on Instagram. She was in attendance at Elton John’s Oscar bash in West Hollywood, California, keeping company with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars including Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sanela Diana Jenkins and Erika Jayne.

She later shared a video as she joined Smith’s children and mother-in-law Adrienne Banfield-Norris to watch Smith crowned Best Actor for his role in the biographical drama, and congratulated him on the victory, which marked his first Oscar win.

‘Congratulations @willsmith – you are more than serving! #family1st #oscars #bestactor,’ she captioned the clip.

Zampino on her social media did not address the incident at the Dolby Theater between Smith and Rock, which occurred after Rock made a joke about Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. He said, ‘Jada, I love you, GI Jane 2, can’t wait to see it.’

The joke did not amuse Pinkett Smith, who has been open about being diagnosed with alopecia, which causes hair loss.

After Smith smacked Rock, he shouted at him twice, ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth!’

Smith apologized to the academy but not to Rock, in an emotional acceptance speech following his win.

Rock did not press charges in connection with the incident, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Smith and Pinkett Smith appeared in good spirits at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, where they were seen dancing, and Smith was seen singing his 1998 single Gettin’ Jiggy wit It.

On Monday, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences said in a statement that they condemned ‘the actions of Mr. Smith at last night’s show’ and ‘have officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our laws, standards of conduct and California law.’
