The popular Vtuber asked Leto a number of questions about Sony Pictures’ latest entry in its Spider-Man Universe franchise, though the actor seemed more interested in discussing Fubuki’s character design and outfit. “I love your character, it’s so cute,” Leto said, adding, “Your outfit is so great too. It almost looks like a Gucci outfit.” The method actor and musician briefly discussed how excited he is to bring the character of Morbius to movie screens for the first time, before he once again questioned Fubuki on her appearance and biology. “Is that a tail, or is it your hair?,” he asked, to which the virtual host replied that it was both. “Wow. The best of both worlds,” the Hollywood star plainly responded. “You’re really such a unique character… It’s mesmerizing. Anyway, I forgot the question,” Leto said, after apparently only just then remembering that this video was meant to promote his latest movie.

The character of Morbius the Living Vampire was originally created by writer Roy Thomas, with an original design by artist Gil Kane, in 1971. The Spider-Man villain made his live-action debut through a cameo appearance in a deleted scene in the original Blade movie, before finally starring in his own film with Sony Pictures’ Morbius, which premiered on April 1. Jared Leto portrays the titular Dr. Michael Morbius, a Nobel Prize-winning medical researcher who accidentally turns himself into a superpowered vampire after he tries to find a cure for the rare blood disease that he is afflicted with. The movie is directed by Swedish filmmaker Daniel Espinosa and also stars Matt Smith (Doctor Who, Last Night in Soho), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising) and Tyrese (2 Fast 2 Furious).

The movie received an overwhelmingly negative response from critics, but debuted at number one and took home over $39 million USD during its opening weekend, though its box-office performance dropped sharply in its second week.
